Im a big, big dog lover! My dog is pretty much just like family to me and it lives alongside of my family as well. My dog Katie sleeps on the couch, sometimes in the bed and can be found in any part of our house. I used a particular flea and tick medication for a long time and it worked. One day however, my dog did get fleas. She scratched and bit so much. We isolated her until we could give her treatment and it really broke my heart. Not to mention it made my family itchy and we had to wash everything!
We took her to a vet and he prescribed Vectra. He said just one dosage a month a month would completely protect her. He was absolutely right and its been a huge relief. It even protects her from mosquitoes that could be carry nasty diseases dogs can contract. We have a lot of land around our house so it would be easy for her to get ticks, mites and fleas. Ive seen mosquitoes hover over her but never land. The repellent in this product really works and this is all I will be using for my beloved dog as flea protection!
