Reviews For Librax

Stomach Ulcers
I never understood the pain associated with ulcers until I developed one. I always thought it was just something that the elderly got. I was no longer able to eat the spicy foods that I love and sleeping, well that was just out of the question. I was told by my doctor that my ulcer was still small enough to be treated without surgery and she gave me Librax. I must say, I am impressed. The first night I took it, it was like that continuous pain in my gut suddenly had better things to do.

IBS
When I hit menopause, I thought that my cramping days were over. That is, until I developed irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Everything became so painful, sleeping, eating, using the bathroom, it was never ending. When I couldn’t take it anymore, I caved and got checked out. I started taking Librax about four months ago and I don’t know what I would do without it. It is refreshing to know that this little pill can keep me feeling like me. There are some foods I can’t eat and sometimes stress gets my IBS acting up, but I feel great most of the time.

Just found out the generic is no longer FDA approved so you can’t get it anymore. Brand name is I was told $4,000 (my share) with insurance. Have been on generic since 2001 and nothing else works. Very upset. Anyone know why the FDA is not approving it anymore ?

I can no longer find Librax at any pharmacies. I have been taking it for several years. My CVS pharmacist said that they(manufacturer) has stopped making Librax.
