Reviews For Horizant
Worked well for my restless leg syndrome
I am a 52-year-old male and have been diagnosed with restless leg syndrome for the past 2 years. My leg movement was so extreme that I usually had trouble falling asleep on most nights. Started taking 500 mg of Horizant for the last month and I tell you, it has been a welcoming change. I am sleeping better and although the restless leg syndrome is not cured 100 %, I feel it has helped a lot. But the side effects of the medication are sometimes intolerable. I am feeling groggy in the morning and sometimes cant think clearly.
The drowsiness of the morning usually goes away by the time its time for work but you have to be patient. My skin is a bit itchy too and eyes are also watery all the time. Dont know if it is a withdrawal symptom from the medicine or allergy of some sort. Anyways, these side effects are nothing when compared to the restlessness I was facing. The urge to move my legs is slowly diminishing. Other medications I have taken in the past were not at all effective. Definitely worked for me! Hope it also helps others who are in the same situation.
