Reviews For Janumet

Very Effective
My fasting blood sugar level was over 250 when I was first tested for diabetes. Soon after, I got the results from my first A1C test. The result was over 13. My doctor prescribed Janumet. I have been taking it for about six months. Along with taking Janumet, I have been following a special diet and exercising a few times a week. I lost twenty pounds since starting Janumet which put my weight at normal range. Now that my weight is normal, I really don’t want to lose more. The only side effects that I have is occasional nausea and some headaches. My blood glucose levels and A1C levels are much better now.

Helped Me Lose Weight and Manage Diabetes
When I was taking Metformin, my blood sugar levels started creeping up higher. I know I could have done a bit better watching my diet, but I really was trying. My doctor switched me to Janumet, and the results have been incredible. Within six months, I lost 40 lbs! It really helped reduce my cravings for sugar and fattening foods. I eat healthier and my blood sugar levels have improved greatly. I love this medication!I strongly recommend it.

My Dr gave me the Janumet coupon in January. Wal-Greens will not file on the coupon till my deductable is met . This Med is $ 200. copay I can not afford this. Wal-greens filed it on the coupon card once in March, and co-pay was $58.68 then I went to get a refil for April and they wont file on the coupon until deductable is met. When I ask Why they would do it one month and not another I got the answer that they wont file on coupon until deductable is met? I dont know what to do. I have 8 pills left Any assistance or suggestions is very welcome .

I got a card last year from my MD. Before I got it, my copay with my insurance was $66/month. After my 12 prescriptions were used I asked for another one. My MD gave me one. I called the number on the card and I was told I could have only one card a lifetime. Now my copay is $78/month. I have another discount card with another company for a different drug and my MD gave me another card and I called it in and it was granted. Sure could use Merck’s help. I am on multiple meds for BP, Cholesterol, and NIDDM II. Thanks.

My have APWU for insurance. They do not take coupons. Do you have a program called Direct Member Reimbursement? I pay $201.00 for a 90 day supply. I am retired and on a fixed income. I do not qualify for Social Security, Medicare or Medicaid. I pay for my own insurance. Is there any help that I can get for this prescription?

  5. Linda says

    Jim….

I asked around and there are churches that can help with your meds, there are also medical supply houses that can help, for instance we have LIKS in South Carolina and it pays for what I can’t pay. I pay most of the prescription and they pay the other 98 dollars for me. Maybe you have similar programs in your area?

I had coupon for janumet 100/1000 was paying 216.00 now in sept 2014 price went up to 239.00 januvia100mg 259.00 getting to expensive to pay for.these prices to high my Dr. Said I need to be on it.

  7. Debby says

Are you kidding me? Seems Drs. all over are prescribing Janumet 100/1000 but it’s too expensive for anyone to go on it. My Dr. prescribed it, but even with insurance the Target Pharmacy wants $347.24 for a one month supply. That’s more than my new car payment ! ! ! Came to this website per the Pharmacy’s suggestion for a Free Trial Offer Coupon and can’t even get that. Who can afford this? My Dr. also gave me 3 other choices all about the same price for a one month supply. I had to refuse them all. I guess I won’t be taking any of them. In other words. . . pay the price or you die? WOW… what a concept ! ! ! What a Wonderful world we live in!

We have used all allowed fir the $5.00 copay for my husband’s janumet xr. Now I have to pay from 66-100 each month. We can’t afford all this even with insurance. Is there another coupon to lower the cost if not we will switch. But this really helps my husband. Thank you

  9. Janice Wintermeyer says

My son is one Janumet XR. It costs him over 300 a month. His insurance doesn’t pay for medications. Anyway he can get some help with this. He had a card but he used all that was allowed and the Dr. gave him another one. It stated he wasn’t eligible and we tried calling and weren’t able to get through. He is on a fixed income and disabled. Thanks for anything you can do.

these coupons are a joke, my mother is on Medicare and is prescribed this medication. It cost her over $200.00 today, if she don’t take it she will die of high blood sugars. She has two different insurances Medicare and United Health Care F. Guess she won’t be buying her meds as she cannot afford them. These coupons don’t work for those on Medicade
